Over the time we have been able to promote the existing good bilateral relations and cooperations between Ethiopia and the friendly countries to which we are accredited i.e. P.R. China, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and Democratic People's of Korea.

The mutual understanding and cooperation in the bilateral diplomatic relations as well as in international forum of common concern between Ethiopia and these friendly countries has been very encouraging; and its our hope that such good understanding would be consolidated in the future.

To implement the development strategies and bring economic development, Human Resource Development has been one of the top priorities of the Ethiopian Government. Short term and customized training programs awarded through bilateral technical cooperation programs with P.R. China, Singapore and Malaysia have contributed a lot in the development endevours of Ethiopia and the support provided is indeed commendable.

We believe that this cooperation would be further strengthened and enhanced with other countries as well. We are also committed to diversify our cooperation in the areas of investment, trade and tourism and culture which would benefit all sides.

We would like to take this opportunity to express once again our conviction to further promote the existing bilateral relations, technical cooperation as well as the ongoing experience-sharing process from the development successes of the friendly countries we cover in variety of areas.
